Available for sale is a Ireland 1855 William Dargan Industrial Exhibition Proof Bronze Medal 44mm BHM #2521* 

* The present example is identical to the design and dimensions of the type #2521 referenced in the British Historical Medals Catalog, however this example is struck in bronze as opposed to white medal as seen with other examples. It is noted in the catalog that Frazer, the author of "The Medallists of Ireland and their work", owned a bronze proof of this piece. The present example being struck in bronze, along with its proof qualities would imply this is proof bronze example, and as such it is exceedingly rare.
